Suddenly in the last week I cannot connect to the internet. The tablet connects to the router and displays and excellent signal and an IP address is visible. However, when attempting to use Silk Browser or go the Appstore it says. "No internet connection". Kindle Customer Service was no help. They said, "buy a new one". Thanks for any response.

My ac1200+ router is unable to connect to the internet through a modem. The activity light on the modem and the light on the internet port on the router are on but not blinking. I am able to connect to the router and setup/change settings. Also, I am able to connect to the internet when I connect the modem directly to the computer.
Basically my laptop will connect to the Internet but only if I'm literally sitting next to the router. This isn't something that's changed, it's been like this from day one. Before anyone says I should of taken it back, I didn't actually buy it. My mother inlaw bought it a while ago, had this issue
